About Juliet
I have been involved in publishing since my days as a high school student, writing for my school's newspaper. I hold a degree in English Literature from New York University. My unique background in journalism puts me in the perfect position to edit your manuscripts and help take them to the next level. I’m also a writer, so I know how important the relationship between writer and editor is. When you find someone who helps you improve not only your manuscript, but your skills and knowledge as a writer, you want to hold onto them forever!
Send me 2,500 words from your manuscript for a free sample edit, and let's see what sort of magic we can make together!

Send me 2,500 words from your manuscript for a free sample edit, and let's see what sort of magic we can make together!
Services:
- Line editing: addresses the use of run-on sentences, scenes where the action is unclear, descriptions that aren't clear in the reader's mind, inconsistent characterization, and muddy timelines.
- Substantive (developmental) editing: addresses plot holes, unfinished subplots, and issues with pacing, characterization, dialogue, logical consistency, and when applicable, fact-checking. The developmental edit not only helps fix these issues, but also teaches the writer how to do the work for themselves. This service is best for first-time writers and requires a longer time commitment. It is our most expensive service.
Genres:
- Fantasy--urban and epic
- Sci-fi--space operas, cyberpunk, steampunk, dystopian, and post-apocalyptic. No hard sci-fi.
- Horror
- Mysteries--cozies, hard-boiled noir detectives, and police procedurals
- Romance--contemporary, sweet, historical, paranormal, and suspense. No erotica.
